ARI-STOBU is a stop valve with gland seal (without bellows), typically used for steam, hot water, industrial water, etc. ARI-STOBU is available with flanged, welded and threaded connections in cast iron, ductile iron, carbon steel and stainless steel.
The standard version is straight-through, but can also be supplied in Y- or angle configuration.
ARI-STOBU can be equipped with a pneumatic or electric actuator for some types of valves. Stop valves with gland seal require maintenance (after some time the gland needs to be adjusted). ARI-STOBU is a stop valve for standard applications, in contrast to ARI-FABA, which is suitable for more difficult operating conditions.
