The Atlas Copco SB302 hydraulic hammer is perfect for working in confined spaces: indoors, along walls, in narrow trenches, etc. The Solid Body principle, which involves the integration of the impact mechanism and guides in one steel block, is a design feature of the SB series hammers. Thanks to this solution, these hammers are extremely compact, easy to maintain, and also weigh 20% less than other types of hammers.

The superior impact performance provided by energy recovery (standard on all new SB hammers) can increase equipment efficiency while reducing fuel costs. In other words, high performance is a direct result of improved impact characteristics.

The special design of SB hammers helps reduce vibration levels, while the Energy Recovery feature absorbs recoil energy. Low vibration is an important condition for reducing machine wear and improving working conditions. An additional advantage of the monolithic housing concept and the new impact mechanism is quiet operation.
